Welcome to the bakery for dogs!

We love dogs and dogs love us!

In 1989, three dogs (Sarah, Dottie & Gracie), two guys (Dan Dye & Mark Beckloff) and one 59¢ biscuit cutter joined forces to create Three Dog Bakery— the world's original bakery for dogs.

Their "paw"pose? To save Gracie, their deaf, partially-blind, albino, anorexic Great Dane! Through trial and error, Mark and Dan managed to create healthy treats and food with everyday ingredients you or I would eat such as peanut butter, wheat flour, honey, fruits, and vegetables to produce the delicious all-natural, oven-baked food and treats.

Soon, Gracie, her sisters Sarah Jean and Dottie, and all their furry friends were enjoying fresh-baked treats that not only tasted good, but were good for them! The response from dogs and people alike was overwhelming in their hometown of Kansas City. Before you could say "Speak!" Mark & Dan began to
deliver their treats across town and eventually opened the first Three Dog Bakery retail store.

Three Dog Bakery's mission is simple: To fresh-bake the world's best treats and foods for dogs! Our wholesome, close-to-the-earth ingredients are free of harsh chemicals and contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. We oven bake our products to slowly release the delicious, all-natural flavors and aromas.

We believe we are changing the way pet owners feed their dogs, one pleased pooch at a time! We were founded with a love of all-natural ingredients, oven-baked flavors and, of course, dogs. Thanks
to
pets and people like you, we've grown from a bare-bones tabletop beginning to one of the nation's leading producers of all-natural treats and foods for dogs.

That’s the story of the company, here’s a little bit of our story:

Chuckles and Maurice are the owners of Three Dog Bakery in Omaha, Nebraska. Chuckles is a Shih Tzu Schnauzer mix (we think) from the Nebraska Humane Society. He was adopted in March of 2006. Before opening Three Dog Bakery Chuckles worked along side his mom at the Nebraska Humane Society. He would go into the schools and teach kids how to take care of pets and how to be safe around animals. Maurice was adopted in June of 2009 from the Little White Dog Rescue. He is a Shih Tzu and has been a wonderful brother to Chuckles.

They stand salivatingly proud behind each and every treat that we bake for our dogs and yours. Stop in and see them soon!
